A pair of these large treefrogs spent their days nestled in nooks and crannies outside our room at Uakari Lodge, and their nights squawking their throats out a few feet from my bed.

Unlike the first frog I photographed in the Pantanal, these treefrogs look like treefrogs.

I went out looking for frogs again the next night, and was not disappointed. Frogs on the ground! Frogs under boards! Frogs on boards! Frogs in the pool! Most of them were this same species, but I also found at least four others.
