I had been told to look out for this large beautiful gecko while hiking around near the top of Fraser's Hill, so I wasn't surprised when I spotted this one. Surprised, no; thrilled, oh yes! What a fine-looking gecko. I spent much of the next day practicing saying its scientific name out loud.
