Hydrophylax gracilis
—
Sri Lanka Wood Frog
Also known as:
Gravenhorst’s Golden-backed Frog, Gravenhorst’s Frog
This species has been placed in various genera, including at least Rana, Sylvirana, Hylarana, Hylorana, and Limnodytes.

This is a widespread, fairly generic Sri Lankan frog. Good old Wikipedia includes this helpful information about Hydrophylax gracilis: “Its natural habitats are freshwater marshes, agricultural lands, and grassland and bush forests.” Hmm.
