Hypsiglena ochrorhyncha
—
Coast Nightsnake
All the North American nightsnakes were included in Hypsiglena torquata until Mulcahy split that species up in 2008.
Subspecies I've seen:

H. o. klauberi
San Diego Nightsnake
Hypsiglena ochrorhyncha klauberi
—
San Diego Nightsnake

We were hoping to find some California Mountain Kingsnakes in this granite-rich mountain park, but the conditions had been extremely dry and the kingsnakes were nowhere to be seen. We did manage to find a few of these common little snakes while searching for the kingsnakes though.
