Limnonectes paramacrodon
—
Lesser Swamp Frog
Also known as:
Masked Frog, Masked Swamp Frog

Thanks to Chien Lee for correcting my original ID for this frog on iNaturalist (which was L. ibanorum).
My Travelogues and Trip Lists page includes a complete list of the herps I saw in the wild on this trip to Malaysia, as well as a travelogue of the trip.

The first time I day-tripped to Bako, the shallow streams and swampy expanses near the headquarters were a cacophony of these calling, jumping, and splashing frogs. Breeding frenzy! When I returned several days later, nary a frog was visible.
