It's hard to tell these small drab-colored day-active Lygodactylus species apart, but based on general appearance and location I think it's likely that this little guy is Lygodactylus pictus.

Ambositra is famed for its wood carvings, so we stopped there to visit a small family-run shop. After we bought a few items, the woman in charge took us out back to show us where and how they did some of their carving. This little gecko was part of a small colony living in that back area.
