This was the tiniest of all the many, many frogs I saw in Peru. It was perhaps a quarter of an inch long. I originally thought it was a teeny tiny baby Chiasmocleis bassleri, but reading up on the other small sheep frogs led me into thinking that it was probably Chiasmocleis antenori instead. Then a researcher studying this group of frogs explained on iNaturalist that no, in fact it should be C. carvalhoi

Once again, the teeniest tiniest frog of the trip. This one chose a more photogenic perch than the one from 2014. These frogs are so small they can't even be bothered to have a full set of toes.
